Article: MICHIGAN'S JANUARY JOBLESS RATE DROPS

The Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Growth issued the following news release:

Michigan's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in January fell by five-tenths of a percentage point to 6.2 percent from December's 6.7 percent, according to data released today by the Michigan Department of Labor & Economic Growth (DLEG). In the state's total labor force, total employment rose by 23,000 and unemployment declined by 24,000, leaving the state's labor force little changed over the month.
