Article: ATTORNEY GENERAL, INSURANCE COMMISSIONER ANNOUNCE APPOINTMENT OF INSURANCE FRAUD ATTORNEY

The New Hampshire Attorney General issued the following news release:

Insurance Commissioner Roger A. Sevigny and Attorney General Kelly Ayotte announced today the creation of an Insurance Fraud Prosecutor position at the Department of Justice, and the appointment of Catherine Tucker as the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor for the State of New Hampshire. As Insurance Fraud Prosecutor, Tucker will be responsible for the coordination of insurance fraud investigations and prosecutions for the state.

This appointment represents a commitment between the Insurance Department and the Department of Justice to aggressively prosecute insurance fraud, which is estimated to account for 10% of all premiums ...
