The New Jersey Department of Commerce issued the following news release:
A comprehensive report issued today by the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) and Battelle, "Growing the Nation's Bioscience Sector: State Bioscience Initiatives 2006" (http://www.bio.org/local/battelle2006), showed that the biotechnology industry in New Jersey continues to see significant advancements. These come as increases in the number of employees working at biotechnology related businesses are being experienced at a rate that is significantly higher than the rate seen in other areas of like size.
