President Arnold Rüütel today at Kadriorg met with top leaders of railway administrations from 17 countries who are participating in the 43rd meeting of the Railway Transport Council in Tallinn.

At the meeting, the President of the Republic emphasised that the cooperation in the field of railway transport gives an additional and valuable dimension to the relations between countries in general. The Head of State said that the infrastructure in Estonia, including ports, with its quality and potential allows to significantly increase volumes of rail haulage from Asian countries with rapidly developing economies to the EU ...
