Article: TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENTS ON PLEASANT RIDGE ROAD START IN NOVEMBER

The city of Arlington issued the following press release:

Arlington residents and businesses in southwest Arlington will have new and improved transportation routes when $7.5 million in construction starts this winter.

Pleasant Ridge Road between Kelly Elliott Road and Bowen Road is scheduled to become a four-lane divided boulevard. Park Springs Boulevard between Pleasant Ridge Road and Interstate 20 will become a four-lane divided boulevard. Pleasant Ridge Road and Parks Springs Boulevard are currently two-lane, county-type roads. Map is attached.
