The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality issued the following news release:
The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) invites the public to comment on its No Further Action finding for the former Oak Street Gas Stop, aka "The Station," at 403 Oak Street in Hood River.
DEQ has reviewed the closure report for the facility submitted on behalf of the owners of the property referencing past remedial activities and documenting the investigative results from soil and groundwater sampling. Based upon the report and previously submitted information, DEQ finds that the facility meets the requirements of Oregon Administrative Rules that govern the remediation of petroleum product ...
