The "Appraisal Report" that appeared in the July 1996 issue of America's Community Banker introduced the National Association of Home Builders' new voluntary square footage standard that will be used for the measurement and calculation of the overall floor areas in single-family homes. The standard's basics included definitions that were reviewed summarily in the previous column.
