Article: Pittsburgh jazz celebrated at Lincoln Center-New York

NEW YORK CITY--It was a weekend to be savored and remembered; a week dedicated to the music of Pittsburgh jazz artists. As part of the Pittsburgh celebration, in the Allen Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Stanley Turrentine, the tenor saxophone who is best-known for his Blue Note soul-jazz jams, was feted as his music was performed by special guests featuring Eric Alexander, Robert Stewart, Gene Ludwig, Grady Tate and Dave Stryker.
