The U.S. National Director of the Muslim Public Affairs Council Ahmed Younis is visiting Turkmenistan from March 25-30, 2006. Mr. Younis' schedule includes meetings with representatives of the Government of Turkmenistan and with imams and mullahs in the provinces of Lebap, Mary and Dashoguz. In his presentations, he discussed Muslim life in the United States and participation of Muslim-Americans in community development. He also addressed inter-faith engagement, counterterrorism, and faith and free speech.
