When Utah trailed the rest of the nation with its home appreciation rates in dead last position just three years ago, Todd Dean didn't know if the market would ever get any better. But a lot can happen in three years, and now he thrills at increased sales and the prospects for an even brighter future.
Currently, Utah ranks 18 in home appreciation, creating a ,'very fluid market," said Dean, an agent with Century 21's Salt Lake City office. "As soon as property hits the market, it is scooped up pretty quickly. Right now [our company is] selling about one home a day, which is a little better than last year."
Dean attributed the increase in company sales to a better workforce.
