Article: RECYCLING HELPS IMPROVE CITY RECREATION FACILITIES IN COUNCIL DISTRICT FOUR

The city of San Diego Department of Environmental Services issued the following news release:

The City's Environmental Services Department presented a check to city recreation council members for $2,013.05 to help improve Chollas Lake Park and Penn Athletic Field, as well as the Stockton and Southcrest recreation centers.

The donation, presented at Chollas Lake on February 28, 2006, represents one year of revenue generated from the sale of recyclable materials collected at city park and recreation recycling drop-off locations in Council District Four, represented by Councilmember Tony Young.
