Commerce is booming on the Internet, creating profits for merchants, convenience for customers - and a chance for lawbreakers around the world to practice their trade.

To fight such Internet crime, also called cybercrime, U.S. federal agencies, international law enforcement organizations and industry targets of computer crimes are working together to track down the "bad guys" and put them out of business.
