A caring and supportive spouse truly can help one's quality of life. This is particularly true for military families, especially during times of deployment. For a serviceman or woman, the awareness that your spouse is thinking about, and praying for, you while you are abroad often makes the time away from home a little easier.
Military spouses are in a unique situation as the military is an institution which places distinctive demands on its members, and in turn, their families.
