The city of Detroit issued the following news release:

The City of Detroit Department of Health and Wellness Promotion (DHWP) kicked off Detroit's celebration of National Infant Immunization Week and Vaccine Week in Americas on Monday, April 24, at the Herman Kiefer Complex. The kick-off included a free walk-in immunization clinic, complete with educational materials. The department also announced a partnership with local McDonald's restaurants and state and local health care organizations to promote health care services for infants and youth in Detroit.
