Rep. Kenny Hulshof, R-Mo. (9th CD), issued the following press release:

Rep. Kenny Hulshof (R-MO), along with Rep. Joel Hefley (R-CO), have introduced ethics reform legislation that would bolster ethics oversight and enforcement in the House and make Members of Congress more accountable to the public. The measure has drawn bipartisan support from across a broad base of the House's ideological spectrum.

"Recent scandals have caused people to lose faith in Congress as an institution," said Hulshof. "We must take action now and it must be real, meaningful reform if we are to restore confidence in Congress."
