The University of Iowa's College of Engineering issued the following news release:

The University of Iowa College of Engineering has appointed Roger Utman, academic core and transition consultant for the Iowa Department of Education's Division of Community Colleges and Workforce Preparation, as a member of the College of Engineering Advisory Board for a four-year term.

Prior to consulting for the Iowa Department of Education, Utman served for 21 years at Iowa Western Community College, Council Bluffs in a variety of positions, the last of which was dean of student support services. Earlier in his career, he worked for 10 years in two Iowa high schools as a counselor and English teacher. He ...
