The Monroe County Executive issued the following press release:
County Executive Maggie Brooks and John Riedman announced that the operating agreement for the Fish Hatchery at Powder Mills Park has been extended for an additional three-year term, to commence on September 10, 2006. Under the original agreement, which was approved by the Monroe County Legislature in 2003, the Riedman Foundation assumed operational responsibilities of the Fish Hatchery, which remains a County owned facility. The original agreement was due to expire on September 9, 2006.
