The city of Vail issued the following news release:
The Vail Town Council is issuing a request for proposals (RFP) for redevelopment of the LionsHead parking structure to include additional parking, new retail spaces and a conference/event center facility, among other potential uses. A draft of the RFP will be reviewed at the May 2 Town Council meeting during the town manager's report.
The RFP process is being initiated in response to interest from private developers who have approached the town with conceptual ideas to redevelop the site to accommodate public and private uses.
