The city of Nashville issued the following press release:
Hermitage Precinct Detective Jeff Ball will be honored Monday (May 8) as the latest recipient of the prestigious Theodore Roosevelt Association Police Award. The award will be bestowed during an 11:30 a.m. ceremony in the community room of the Hermitage Precinct, 3701 James Kay Lane. Media representatives are invited.
The Theodore Roosevelt Association Police Award is given to a police officer who has rendered outstanding and praiseworthy service to the department and the community despite a serious handicap, illness or injury.
