Article: Rep. Case Introduces Native American Languages Amendments Act

WASHINGTON, May 7 -- Rep. Ed Case, D-Hawaii, has introduced the Native American Languages Amendments Act of 2006 (H.R. 5222), legislation that would "amend the Native American Languages Act to provide for the support of Native American language survival schools."

The bill, introduced on April 27, was referred to the House Education and the Workforce Committee.
