Article: HOMICIDE, OTHER MAJOR CRIMES IN NEVADA

The Nevada Attorney General issued the following news release:

Nevada's increasing population and other factors are contributing to an increase in the number homicides and major crimes reported to the FBI. Preliminary numbers in the FBI's Uniform Crime Report show the number of violent crimes in Nevada increased 2% between 2004 and 2005. The numbers break down as follow:
