Rep. Don Manzullo (R-IL) today interviewed a local World War II veteran whose story will be digitally chronicled locally and at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC as part of a project to preserve the stories of veterans for future generations.
The veteran, Gerald Julin of Rockford, shared his war recollections with Congressman Manzullo during the 20-minute taped interview at Rockford's Memorial Hall as part of the national Veteran's History Project.
