In recognition of travel and tourism's tremendous economic, social, and cultural impact in Florida, VISIT FLORIDA, the state's official tourism marketing organization, announced today that it plans to observe Tourism Week May 13-21. Many cities throughout the state are hosting events and travel specials to celebrate the fact that "We're All in Florida's Tourism Business." This annual tourism week celebration is nationally sponsored by the Travel Industry Association of America.
