Article: AGREEMENTS TO PURCHASE 65 MILLION LITERS OF BIODIESEL PER YEAR

Petrobras announced late last month it signed agreements with four companies to purchase 65.3 million liters (17.3 million gallons) per year of biodiesel at a cost of R$50 million (U.S.$23.4 million).

The agreements are the first step the company has taken to comply with Brazil's 2% biodiesel mandate that begins in 2008.
