Article: Sen. Santorum Introduces Bill to Amend Internal Revenue Code

WASHINGTON, May 12 -- Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pennsylvania, has introduced a bill (S. 2701) to "amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide a refundable credit for high deductible health plans for uninsured individuals."

The bill, introduced on May 3, is being co-sponsored by Sens. Elizabeth Dole, R-North Carolina and Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
