The city of Santa Fe issued the following news release:

Santa Fe is hosting a series of bicycling events, starting Monday May 15th, to celebrate Bike Month (May). This year marks the 50th anniversary of Bike Month, with events organized nationally by the League of American Bicyclists. Bicyclists can avoid parking hassles and high gas prices, improve their physical fitness and experience the joy of riding a bicycle.

In Santa Fe, bicycle commuters can visit more than a dozen coffee shops and bike shops around town that will be offering treats to customers who arrive by bicycle and who are wearing a helmet between May 15 and May 19th. A Yellow Banner proclaiming "We Support Bike-to-Work Week" ...
