The City of Los Angeles issued the following news release:

A delegation of 10 representatives from both the public and private sectors, lead by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, meet with officials from the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) today to discuss the possibility and reality of the City of Los Angeles hosting the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
