The South Carolina Department of Public Safety issued the following news release:

The South Carolina Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol will be in Chesterfield County April 5 for Coffee With the Highway Patrol. Troopers will meet with citizens of Chesterfield County at Mary's Restaurant, 134 Market Street, from 8-10 a.m. to discuss motor vehicle safety in their communities.

Local restaurants throughout the state are partnering with the Highway Patrol to help promote safety by hosting these public forums. The public will have an opportunity to interact with troopers and share concerns about their community in an informal one-on-one setting.
