Article: GRAND JUNCTION 125TH ANNIVERSARY BOOK COMMITTEE SELECTS AUTHOR

The city of Grand Junction issued the following news release:

The Grand Junction 125th Anniversary Book Committee has chosen Professor Laurena Mayne Davis as the author of a new Grand Junction history book. The book will be released as part of the celebration of Grand Junction's 125th Anniversary during April, 2007.

Davis currently teaches mass communications at Mesa State College in Grand Junction. She was the features editor for The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel from 2000 until 2003, and worked as a Sentinel reporter and copy editor from 1994 until 1997.
