The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection issued the following news release:
Department of Consumer Protection Commissioner Edwin R. Rodriguez released today the results of a series of alcohol compliance checks conducted on Saturday May 13, by agents from the Liquor Control Division, officers from the Norwalk Police Department, and four volunteer minors trained and provided by the Connecticut Coalition to Stop Underage Drinking.
On Saturday, 58 package stores and grocery stores in Norwalk that sell beer were tested for compliance with State laws banning sales of alcohol to persons under the age of 21. Of these, five (5) stores sold alcohol to the minors, whose ages ranged between ...
