The University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth issued the following press release:
UMass Dartmouth is hosting a symposium today and tomorrow focusing on the unique pressures and issues that girls face in the 21st century. The event, entitled "Girls in the Social Margins, Girls in Conflict with the Law," will include lectures by leading policy and academic authorities on the issues, including Commissioner Jane E. Tewksbury, Massachusetts Department of Youth Services.
