Article: CHARLOTTE AREA TRANSIT SYSTEM BEGINS SECOND EXPRESS ROUTE IN NORTH MECKLENBURG

The city of Charlotte issued the following news release:

Beginning June 5, the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will make adjustments to several routes to increase frequency of service and give residents more commuting choices. " Charlotte Area Transit System understands that commuting needs of residents change over time," said Jim Zingale, Charlotte Area Transit System ' Chief Operating Officer. "Commuters want the most convenient and cost-effective way to get where they are going. By continually monitoring our bus routes and ridership trends, we are able to meet our customers' needs."
