U.S. ATTORNEY GLENN T. SUDDABY announced that YAZID BACHENE, age 38 and of Long Island City, New York, pled guilty on May 15, 2006 to immigration fraud. BACHENE entered his guilty plea before the Honorable NORMAN A. MORDUE, Chief United States District Court Judge, in Albany, New York. BACHENE faces a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment, supervised release of 3 years, a fine of $250,000, and a special assessment of $100. BACHENE's sentencing is scheduled ...
