The Connecticut Department of Public Safety issued the following news release:

The Connecticut State Police participated in the National C.A.R.E. (Combined Accident Reduction Effort) program over the Memorial Day Weekend. During this Memorial Day Holiday Weekend Connecticut State Troopers patrolled Connecticut's roads using traditional patrol cars and unmarked non-traditional police vehicles. Troopers made several arrests over the holiday. The Memorial Day Weekend count began at midnight on May 26th and ran through midnight May 30th.
