The city of Seattle issued the following news release:
The West Point Light Station in Discovery Park is open to the public on selected weekend days this summer: June 10, 24, 25, July 15, 23 and August 12, 19, 20.
The West Point Light Station site has many stories to tell. When the property is open, staff is offering varied activities and exhibits to illustrate these stories. Check with the Discovery Park Environmental Learning Center (3701 W Government Way in Magnolia) to see what is being offered on the day of your visit. Discovery Park staff will be at the lighthouse property from noon to 4 p.m.
