New York State Sen. Jeffrey D. Klein, D-Bronx (34th District), issued the following news release:

Sen. Jeff Klein joined his colleagues in the Westchester County State Legislative Delegation, County Executive Andrew J. Spano, Members of the Westchester Board of Legislators, representatives from the Westchester Medical Center, and local labor leaders today to announce an agreement on legislation that will ensure the financial health of the Westchester Medical Center..

The bipartisan legislation (A.8846-C/S.5656-E) would provide an increase of $25 million a year for three years from the State, totaling $75 million. In addition, the legislation includes a county MOE (maintenance of effort) ...
