Article: Rep. Davis Introduces Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail Designation Act

WASHINGTON, June 10 -- Rep. Jo Ann Davis, R-Virginia, has introduced the Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail Designation Act (H.R. 5466), legislation that would "amend the National Trails System Act to designate the Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail."

The bill, introduced on May 24, is being co-sponsored by 14 representatives. It was referred to the House Resources Committee.
