U.S. SENATE AGAIN FAILS TO REPEAL DEATH TAX

This week the U.S. Senate failed to permanently repeal one of the most unfair and onerous taxes in our nation, the Death Tax. A vote to close debate and move to consideration of a permanent repeal of the Death Tax was defeated, yet again stalling passage of the legislation.

I have voted for the permanent repeal of the Death Tax nearly a dozen times. It is unfortunate that the Senate fails to see that this burdensome tax continues to threaten many families, small businesses and ranches across the nation.
