St. Thomas University issued the following news release:
As part of National Consumer Protection Week, St. Thomas University School of Law, together with the Office of the Florida Attorney General, and Florida State University's College of Criminology & Criminal Justice, has announced its involvement in the fight against fraud and the establishment of The Center for the Study of Economic Crimes and www.FraudUpdate.com. The Center will assist policymakers, law enforcement, and the general public in recognizing, prosecuting, and preventing fraud and other activities that victimize consumers, businesses, and government agencies.
