NEW DELHI, India, June 13 -- Tamil Nadu minister M.K. Stalin, son of chief minister M Karunanidhi, had a narrow escape on Tuesday when a man tried to attack him with a knife. The assailant was stopped by a security guard but got away eventually.

Stalin, however, was unaware of the incident until he saw the injured guard. The incident occurred early on Tuesday morning when Stalin alighted from a train at Madurai railway station.
