Assemblyman Bob Barra (R,C,I-14th Assembly District) is calling for action to relieve the tremendous burden commuters face as gas prices soar past $3 per gallon in New York. He continues to support both short-term and long-term proposals to assist motorists including measures that would provide immediate tax relief, development of alternative fuels, and investigations into possible price gouging.
