Vienna/Washington, June 15 -- The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is looking forward to establishing a multi-national nuclear fuel bank that would guarantee a reliable supply of nuclear fuel to civilian nuclear users.

The proposal for the nuclear fuel bank will be discussed at the special IAEA's General Conference in Vienna scheduled to meet between 19-20 September.

The rationale behind IAEA's new proposal could be gauged from the statement made by its Director General Mohamed ElBaradei who has said: " With sensitive nuclear technology in too many hands and with some 35-49 countries 'in the know', the ...
