NEW DELHI, India, June 3 -- Some companies consider spouses working in the same office a "healthy practice" - healthy for both the couple as well as for the company. They feel that it fosters loyalty and long-term commitment and enables the duo to work better.

However, most companies that this correspondent spoke to, were unanimous in thinking that they would avoid posting a couple in the same department/team.
