Article: Berkeley Springs' Homeopathic Operation Expands

BERKELEY SPRINGS - With its Internet sales on the rise and more than 950 retailers worldwide, Washington Homeopathic Products is expanding its Morgan County production facility to meet consumer demand.

The company founded in Washington, D.C., in 1873 and based in Berkeley Springs since 1991 - scheduled an open house this week at its new 12,500-square-foot factory in the Morgan County Business Park 11 miles south of Berkeley Springs.

Under owner Joe Lillard, the company today has more than two dozen employees and sales of more than $2 million a year.

"It's nothing for us to add seven to 14 new retailers in a week's time," said Misty Householder, Washington Homeopathic's marketing manager. ...
