The government of Ethiopia issued the following news release:

Prime Minister Meles Zenawi yesterday held talks with Deputy Foreign Minister of Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Hyong Jun and Irish Foreign Minister Dermont Ahern T.D.

During the talks with DPRK Deputy Foreign Minister, Prime Minister Meles said the cooperation between Ethiopia and DPRK should further be strengthened.

Prime Minister Meles called for efforts to take to a new height the economic cooperation between the two countries, especially in the areas of trade and investment.
