The New Mexico Department of Economic Development issued the following news release:

New Mexico Economic Development Secretary Rick Homans today, along with some of the most prominent players in the international aerospace industry, unveiled New Mexico's Spaceport America.

"New Mexico's Spaceport America will launch the world's second space age," said Secretary Rick Homans. "We are proud to be the home of aerospace visionaries, such as Virgin Galactic, Eclipse, X PRIZE CUP, Rocket Racing League, UP Aerospace, and Starchaser Industries.
