Article: USDA DESIGNATES COUNTIES IN COLORADO AS NATURAL DISASTER AREAS

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Farm Service Agency has issued the following press release:

The U.S. Department of Agriculture designated three counties in Colorado as primary natural disaster areas, making all qualified farm operators in the designated areas eligible for low-interest emergency (EM) loans from USDA's Farm Service Agency (FSA). Dolores, Montezuma and San Miguel Counties were designated primary natural disaster areas due to losses caused by freezes that occurred from May 9, 2006, through May 11, 2006; and from May 28, 2006, through May 30, 2006.
