Kaskaskia College issued the following news release:
Todd Tracy, Project Manager of the Illinois Small Business Development Center located at Kaskaskia College, is pleased to announce that two regional small businesses were selected from a pool of 15 finalists for INNOVATE Illinois 2006. Southern Illinois finalists included Lyons Fisheries, owned and operated by Joe and Brenda Lyons in Sandoval and a Centralia company, Die Cutters, Inc. owned and operated by Robert "Bobby" Gilbert were selected to receive awards of $2,500 and $5,000 respectively.
