ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 24 -- Kazuhiro Sakata and Akihisa Kurashima, both of Tokyo, have developed a location information conversion device.

According to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the invention relates to a "location information conversion device which can ensure privacy protection of a search object.
