Rep. Maurice Hinchey (D-NY) today released the following statement regarding the National Research Council of the National Academies' new report on TCE. "The health risks and dangers associated with TCE are undeniable as a result of this new National Research Council report. What we've know for a long time - that TCE is a highly toxic carcinogen, especially as it relates to kidney cancer - is now backed up by another scientific panel with hard data.
